Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
Alhamduliallah all logistical issues were taken care of to the details leaving us pilgrims with the all important task of focussing on the quality of our ibadah. All the horror stories people tell you before you get to hajj... I have to say mine are only positive. I have no scary or worrying experiences to share, just the beauty of the experience of hajj. As for timing I am glad we all commenced our journey just before the days of hajj began allowing us a healthy week in Makkah to reflect on the journey so far and a healthy week in Medinah to consolidate the personal changes before returning to London.
The highlight for me were the days in Azizye, arafat/muzdalifa and Mina. The true spirit of brotherhood, learning together, and experiencing a journey of a lifetime together. The strong memories will live forever. We were among sincere people so I felt Allah (swt) also blessed our hajj and the hajj of the whole jamaat to even the smallest wishes all the pilgrims had.
JazakAllah khair for the efforts of Zam Zam Travels and all those who worked alongside Zam Zam. I'll be back soon.
